Delka T. Perguidi, 96, of St. Joseph's in Enfield, CT; passed away peacefully June 3, 2017 surrounded by family, friends and members of the Little Sisters of the Poor. Born January 20, 1921 in San Marzano, Oliveto, Italy, she was a daughter to the late Giuseppe and Annunziata Terzano. Delka was an extremely experienced seamstress belonging to the ILGW Union. Her life revolved around God, family, friends, cooking and her garden. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Dominick Perguidi, who passed away in 1991. She leaves her devoted children Victor Perguidi and his wife, Frances of Palmer, MA; and Sandra and her husband, Jeffrey Gould of Hazelton, PA; grandchildren Stefanie Walsh and her husband, Tom; David Perguidi and his wife, Heather; Kristy Knarr and her husband, Wade; great-grandchildren Amanda, Skyler, Matthew, Samantha, Madeline, Sophia and Bryce. She also leaves her devoted sister-in-law Linda Schleim. A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Delka will be held at 11AM on Friday, June 9, 2017 at St. Joseph's, 1365 Enfield St., Enfield, CT 06082. The family would like to thank the employees and Sisters for the wonderful care they provided our mother the last 17 years.
