Linda Mary Valentin (Pierce) 72 from East Hartford went in eternal peace on February 17, 2021 at St Francis Hospital. Born on November 3, 1948 in Northbridge Massachusetts to Mr. Truman Pierce and Mrs. Josephine Pierce (Bloniaz) both predeceased. She grew up in Manchaug Mass and attended Manchaug Elementary School and Sutton High School. She met and married the love of her life Adelanio Ruiz Valentin (predeceased) while working at a hospital as a candy striper in Uxbridge Mass. They were married on Sept 11, 1965. After moving to CT in 1974 she worked as a nurse's aide at Elm Hill Convalescent Home in Cromwell. She was an avid bingo player and loved watching her daytime soap operas. She was a long-time resident of East Hartford. She had a kind and compassionate spirit, and her laughter could brighten up a room. She is survived by her 4 children, daughter Maria Leon and her husband Luis, daughter Terry Lynn Valentin and her husband Carlos, son Jaime Ruiz Valentin, and daughter Jenny Valentin, also 17 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren, a Brother Dennis Pierce and Sister Rose Dautrich and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held for her on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Carmon Community Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave Windsor CT. Family will receive visitors from 10AM-11Am with a funeral home service at 11:00Am. Flower or donations may be sent to the funeral home Thank you. Linda was truly loved and will be greatly missed❤.
