Louise Ann Lubetkin (Vezina), 70, passed away on Monday, September 28th at Middlesex Hospital. She was born on August 9, 1950, in Springfield Massachusetts, and lived in more places over the course of her life than we're able to list here. She lived a full life, filled with creativity, spirituality, and an abiding love of nature- all of which she passed onto her children, teaching them to dance in the rain.
Louise married the love of her life, Paul Lubetkin, in a special backyard wedding in Manchester CT.
Louise was a very spiritual person, and would often connect to those that weren't physically present. She had to have Sade playing in the background when she cleaned the house, loved being near water, and got great joy out of teaching people about their astrological signs. She loved Breyers ice cream and Dove chocolate candies, and leaves a legacy of joy and love.
Among the many roles she held, she worked for Pratt and Whitney, where she received an Employee Recognition Award, and the US Postal Service, where she taught new companies how to handle their postal needs.
Louise was predeceased by her father, Lawrence Paul Vezina; her stepmother, Dorothy A Boyer; and her beloved husband, Paul Lubetkin.
She leaves to carry on her memories and her love; her daughter Heidi Lubetkin and her husband Eduardo Villodas; her son Matthew Lubetkin; her grandchildren, US Navy Sailor Jeremy Paul (23), Alexander (18), Carter (16), Isabella (11), Brayden Robert (12), and Kobie James (13); her brother, Stephen Vezina and sister-in-law Sandra Vezina of East Hampton; her niece Stacey Vezina and her husband Colt Cormier of Chaplin; and her nephew Steven Vezina and his wife Agata Vezina of Colchester, CT. Her cousin Marie Vezina and family of New York.
A service will be held at Carmon Funeral Home 807 Bloomfield Ave. Windsor CT 06095 on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 5:30 PM. Family will be accepting visitors from 4:00PM-5:30PM.
