Ronnie Jonathan Roy, 30, of Manchester, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020. He battled with addiction and lost his battle. He was born on June 3, 1989 in Hartford to Robin Roy. .
Ronnie was a fun loving person who always had to be the life of the party. He had a smile that could light up the room and could make anyone laugh or smile even if they were having a bad day. He had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off your back if you needed it. He loved football especially watching the JETS. He loved to play cards with his friends and spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved his son and spending any time he could with him. Even though Ronnie struggled with addiction, he was always looking forward and trying to live the best life he could. He will be missed and there will forever be a hole in the peoples lives he touched.
Ronnie is survived by his mother Robin Roy, his ex-wife Leslie Roy, his son Austin S. Roy born January 12, 2012, his brothers Alexander F. Roy and Clayton J. Roy, his sister Robbi-Lee A. Roy, his nephews Terrance Moore, Alexander F. Roy, and Dylan Roy, and his niece Alana Roy.
He is predeceased by grandparents Ronald and Grace Pierce and his brother Brandon Roy.
Due to the situation with the COVID-19, the services have been postponed until further notice. Once we have all the details we will notify everyone of the date and time.
In lieu of flowers please donate to any organization who help individuals that struggle with addiction.
